Progress – n. – an incremental advance to a new level of disappointment.
Thought – n. – (plu. thoughts). A culinary ingredient occasionally mixed in good proportion, or when pressed for time, as a seasoning.
Ratiocination – n. – a politically sovereign community of ratiocinae (see thought).
Trump – n. – (adj. trumpian). In bridge, the claim to a party’s hard-fought victory brought about by luck. In 21st century American politics and real estate, the hind part of a T-Rex.
Justice – n. The discharge from a litigation.
Litigation – n. A process of restitution more exacting than desired and less severe than warranted. In some modern societies aspiring to be medieval, or perhaps in all, the systemic (or sudden) separation of limb from limb without the benefit of anesthesia.
Climate Change – n. A few spare coins in the pockets of politicians with a vested interest in the status quo.
